what is the point of clean up jobs?

First - stop working in clay at 10 mins before the bell. This will give you time to put your work away safely, jot down some notes on your progress, clean up YOUR OWN AREA - and then do your team clean up job. 

It is not the job of anyone else to clean up after you.
it is the job of the team to do maintenance. 

There are no bath room passes in the last ten minutes.
New wheel throwers - and/or Large classes - need to start clean up 15 mins before the bell.
