What was easier without your teacher (me) here in the last week and a half?

What was more difficult without your teacher (me) here?

What was the most surprising thing you got done?

Put this on your log and turn it in.

Bisque is out Wednesday and glaze is running

12/8/2015

Make sure you are on target with the assignments and are using your progress scale.

please check out the scale for making a cylinder here -
what are the five main skills we are tying to show in our work?
what do you think is the difference between making a cylinder and an other shape?

answers - skills are -
creating a centered project
making a specific form/shape with even walls
creating a base and lip that are even, study and well formed
glazing evenly to show off the form
creating a unified project using art and design elements

what did you get done? what will you get done?

12/7/2015

On this weeks' log - please make a list of what you got done last week - make sure you have been using your progress sheet.

today, Monday, watch the planter demo - what is unique about opening twice? When do you make the second opening?
