Today is the last day to put glaze on a project. Nothing fancy stuff. Glaze and go. You only have this period to glaze. We will continue to run the kiln today and tomorrow and thursday.

our first lidded project will be a vase topped by a lid that is really just a truncated upside down planter.

LAST DAY OF WET CLAY IS MONDAY JAN 14. YOU CAN FOOT ON THE 15TH, BUT THEN WE ARE DONE WITH THEM. WE WILL CONTINUE TO FIRE AND GLAZE AND YOU HAVE UNTIL WEDNESDAY JAN 23 TO TURN STUFF IN. PACKETS WILL BE DUE THAT DAY. (and all lockers emptied.) PRESENTATIONS WILL BE ON WED JAN 23 & THURS JAN 24 advanced students - outline Friday Jan 4, draft Jan 11, final draft of essay jan 18 what, how, why GENERAL CLEAN UP WILL BEGIN THURSDAY JAN 17 - YOU WILL BE GRADED ON YOUR EFFORTS TO CLEAN UP. |
