What is art, anyway?

1/29/2016

Art is something that changes people's view of the world.
It is a way we use MEIDA (material - i.e. clay) + skills + art and design elements + our point of view to create something that communicates to others. It can communicate an idea, a feeling or a mood.
preview the art elements here - Monday we will go over them.

Please turn in your work logs in the basket up front - make sure your name and pd. # and all dates on it!!!

first bisque is today. New students leave your projects in a bag over the weekend. We will start them drying next week. also coming right up - coil pot.

What to do when I am gone ...
