What can I do to keep my projects from drying out?

What projects have I completed now we are a month into the second quarter? What do I need to turn in?

on your work log - what is your job for today?

What is your plan for the next two days in class and how will you keep your work - 'workable' and what will you get done.

Pd. five will do 'dry' cleaning.

Pd. six will do water cleaning.

We use a rubric to evaluate work - however, what really does the rubric represent?

"Skill- set" - techniques, ideas, art elements, ect that you need to learn for the unit/project.

NOTE - when do we turn in the work log?

We meet again on Tuesday - so use the back of your work log for Tuesday and turn it in then! :)

Make sure you bag your project when you add a handle or any wet clay - let it dry slowly so it doesn't shrink away.

You need bagged clay to make your handle.

Make sure make your handle first, then foot the project, then attach the handle. the handle needs to set up for about 15 minutes before you attach it!

making a cup is a two day project -
day one - make a cylinder
day two - pull handle, foot cup, attach handle
