Notice how if you pull small peices of clay - instead of making a coil you get a ribbon effect.

when you are putting on many colors - which glaze goes on first - the detail or the background?

The base or background color!!
note, clear will peel off of sizable sections of other glaze and must be put on first.
white glaze will make other colors run.
white looks different over dark, than dark looks over white.

BEGIN THE PERIOD BY FINDING YOUR NEW JOB AND DOING IT FOR 7 MINUTES.

THEN NOTE THIS ON YOUR WORK LOG - Remember, wet clay ends two weeks before the end of the terms so we can get everything done, fired and glazed and the room deep cleaned.

That is two more weeks before break and a week and a half after break - how will you use your time?
What do you need to get done?

Advanced students - what is your area of concentration or Theme?
you need to come up with an idea and post it on your website as the second entry under theme blog.
**HINT - Design elements make good themes - or main ideas - or areas of concentration. What do you do and/or like the best?
