What is art, anyway?

Art is something that changes people's view of the world.
It is a way we use MEIDA (material - i.e. clay) + skills + art and design elements + our point of view to create something that communicates to others. It can communicate an idea, a feeling or a mood.

try and finish your pinch pot today and leave it in an open bag to get it leather hard. That way on Friday we can put finishing touches on it
--smooth it out so there are no sharp parts
--make the hole or cut the lid off the box.

continuing -

Make sure you have something that you can foot tomorrow and put in the bisque. You should have made your five practice pots by now
