Some extra time to clean up ... and more

3/14/2017

There are over 120 students who use this room ---
SO we need to be extra careful about keeping it clean.
If everyone cleaned up 'just after myself' the room would get very dirty because there is a lot of dust, water and stuff that just collects. In reality most people clean up about 70-90% of the mess they make-
AND this means there really is no one to make up the difference.
I CANNOT clean up a tiny bit after 120 people.
REALITY - cleaning up after yourself is really to do 110% !

so we will spend the first 13 minutes of the period cleaning as a group. Also you team jobs will change today.

Pd. 2 - dry things - sweep, move wheels and get dry clay off all surfaces. Empty all still water. Clean out inside of cupboards - get rid of dry projects.
Pd. 4- start washing - do batts and throwing buckets, wash inside of cupboards.
TA - make some glazes
ps. 5 - wash rings chairs and wheels
pd. 6 - wash all tools, all surfaces & sludge one table

(in my experience - about 1/3 do not much, about 1/3 do just enough and the rest is done by the last third who do a lot. Who do you want to be ??? What you put into life is directly proportional to what you get out of it. All of your projects are a physical record of your efforts --as it the state of the room.
- a slacker? Just enough? or WONDERFUL?)
as an aside, just think about it - your projects, your 'work' is a 3 dimensional object that records your actions (or lack of them) as they occurred in 4 dimensional space time. WOAHA!
the mess you either leave behind or do not leave behind is the same -- it is your DARHM
