How your project dries is extremely important.

To get to leather soft or hard leave it in the bag, in your locker, but don't close the bag.

For most projects NEVER just leave the out to dry somewhere when they are wet or one part will dry faster and they will fall apart.

advanced - NEVER foot a project that has a dry rim and a damp base. The rim will most likely crack when you turn it upside down and put it on the wheel with damp clay.
