what intermediate and advanced students need to do for their final presentation.

5/28/2015

Since you have completed two semesters of art you will need to reflect on that for a final exam grade -

you need a gallery of your best work from the two semesters - could just be this semester - you should have captions.
For your gallery page - make a regular page.
Drag the Gallery Icon over. Put up at least 8 pictures, you need to edit them before hand. You can do this with an ipad and most phone apps, but it also works well with a computer. I can let you use the ones in the room.

Here's a link to a student site who is still using the site in college!

Here is one that a student made a few years ago

On your theme page you need to write something.
First look the work you have in your gallery - what design elements are most in common in all the work?

This design element should be your main idea or theme.

for your first paragraph describe the four projects that MOST show this theme. Again this is a descriptive paragraph so use Concrete Details.

For the next body paragraph describe the skills you learned this year and how you used some of the art elements. Again look for commonality between these four art works.

For the third body paragraph tell how the skills, art elements and design elements describe a certian mood, feeling or idea.

first and last paragraph are intro and conclusion and can be short.

here is an example from a ceramics student

it is a good idea to post an outline first - please do this by next Tuesday. The Tuesday after that you need to present.
