Where is the viewer standing in relation to the picture plane in your image? how high off the floor are they and are they to the right or the left?
Will there be anything on or near the picture plane? Will anything break the picture plane?
let's discuss the drawing below
In this image the viewer would have to be on a ladder looking down into the room to get the vanishing point so high. the vanishing point is above the headboard of the bed. So the viewer is high up and in the very center of the room.
The small cabinet at the right is right against the picture plane where as the easy chair on the right breaks through the picture plane and leaves the rectangle of the image. But again we would have to be high above the chair to look down on it like that.
