Ms. H is out. :(  - new assignment - creating a value scale.

Make sure your room is done, your paragraph written and the rubric filled out. Please turn in the drawing to the guest teacher and make sure they are on the table in front.

When you are done with that please start on a new assignment:
 
    
"I can create ten-point value scale using crosshatched
lines." Crosshatched lines run vertically and horizontally across the plane perpendicular to each other.
Draw ten 1-inch square boxes across the paper in pencil. 
In the first box, using a dark pencil,  put crosshatched lines very close together to create a value that is the darkest you can make. The more lines the darker the value.  Crosshatch inside each box, gradually making your lines father and farther apart in successive boxes, until the value in the next to last box appears to be quite light. The last box should be left white, without any crosshatches.
