Make sure you have your bowls done -
-start from a cylinder
-use your rib to open
-try trimming the base with a number seven tool
-Check to see you are doing your foot ring correctly

If you want extra credit - make a weebly site with your work on it! See me or an advanced student for how to do it!

start thinking about a main idea for your theme - what interests you about your work?
color? form? surface decoration? scale? Check the vocab list to see what art elements you are using currently.

A description of the art elements you see in your work - with examples -should be the next blog under your theme tab. Do it by next Friday.

* extra credit - as many as you like! (you must do all assignments to get extra credit - but they make nice gifts!)

Final packet due two days before end of term - or in spring - two days before

Advance student’s blog must be updated weekly. They will be graded!

Other choices to support your theme as necessary
-Gallery on blog nearly complete one month before end of the term

-Theme topic – on blog   six weeks before presentation
-Theme outline – on blog     four weeks weeks before presentation
-Theme rough draft   two weeks before presentation
-Final draft   Friday before --presentation
website must be finished by first day of presentations.

Presentations and cleaning from the Monday Tuesday & Wednesday before the end of the semester

NO extra credit for choice projects will be given unless all of the required projects are turned in
